Joshua Update 6/11

Joshua will be turning two on June 24 and is my LOUD child. He would much rather scream (ear-piercing) than talk. So, as of right now he still doesn't say much but it is s l o w l y getting better. He says things like- pool, up, please, thank you, no, ok, yes, night night, baby, dada, mommy, me, more, all done, etc. But does a lot of screaming instead of using words. He screams so much that I usually have a headache everyday...I think you get my point now. :-) Aside the screaming, he is my little sweetheart. Always coming up to me and kissing me and giving hugs. He loves to vacuum along with me, wear a hat, shoes, doing everything that Evan does, spaghetti and meatballs, his sippy cup of milk, swimming, eating fruit, playing outside, reading books, his family, prayer time, Barney, Imagination movers, he too has a lot of favorites. Joshua is his daddy's mini me and loves to make us laugh. He does silly things like try to feed himself with his eyes closed, run forward and backwards really fast, tell us nooooo dada, nooooo mommy in a whisper. My favorite time of day (besides nap time) is when Joshua will cuddle with me on the couch and watch a show, he'll rub my arm the whole time. I love you Joshua and can't believe my baby is turning 2 soon! We are having a Barney Party!

Evan Update 6/11

Evan is three and my crazy boy. He is smart, sweet, loving, out-going, helpful, hyper, and a big goof ball. He's got a memory like you wouldn't believe. He can remember every place he's been to and point it out to you. He knows his ABC's, 1-10, Birthdate, Age, Address, Full name (and can spell it), left/right and songs. He knows most of the names of his books and can give me directions to Grandma's house. He'll ask me things like, "Remember Mommy, I went there and got a chocolate milk!" He has been potty trained for over a year now and we are so proud! He loves showing Josh how to use the potty, but Josh has no interest right now. Evan's favorite things are Barney, Imagination Movers, Memory DVD of my Grandpa Ron, his Elmo pillowcase and little orange bear that he sleeps with, pizza, chocolate milk, mac n cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, moo bars and chocolate ice cream cones or shakes, sonic trips with Grandpa or Great Grandma Kay, going to the Park, "playing" video games with his dad, swimming, visiting his Theo (Uncle) Steve at work, his thomas the train engine...wow, there are so many! Evan dresses himself and does small chores like putting his laundry away, loading the washer and turning it on, cleaning up his dishes, waters the flowers, puts groceries away, and puts a new trash bag in bin. Evan is super excited that we will be going to his first Mets game this month (they play the Rangers) and he thinks he is getting a pizza and chocolate milk, ha ha! I love you Evan and the wonderful little boy you are becoming!!
