Every nap and bedtime, I lay with Evan in his bed and we read a couple books. Recently, he's been laying on my chest and it is just so sweet! I love having this special cuddle time with my little man-he is growing too fast!!

Easter Bunny

On Monday, I got the boys dressed in their Easter outfits and took them to the mall to see the bunny. Evan started crying before I even got him out of the stroller-haha. So, I only got a picture of Joshua with the bunny and one of Evan standing infront of the fence. Poor little guy was so upset. He did wave and say "hi" to the bunny :-) At least I got a photo of Josh since I know next year neither of them will probably sit with the bunny.

Evan

Evan is two years old and looking like such a big boy! He is very loving and always happy! Doesn't matter what I am doing and he will come up to me asking for a kiss or hug my leg, I'll even get an "I wuh yew Mommy!" I love when he does that stuff! Lately, he has been repeating everything he hears which isn't always a good thing. But, he is a very smart boy and is becoming a better listener. As for potty training...he uses the potty and wears pull-ups but is still having accidents. I really had no idea how frustrating potty training was going to be. He knows it's "bad" to go in his big boy pants but he still does it-I'm hoping by this summer he will have the hang of it! He gets rewarded for going number 2 on the potty with an Elmo sticker and a piece of chocolate. Speaking of Elmo, he is still obsessed with him. It's all about Elmo with Evan. Evan enjoys playing outside and with "Dosh." I know Evan can't wait for Josh to be walking around and getting into trouble with him (Mommy, however, CAN wait!!) He is starting to speak in sentences and knows A LOT of words. He is a great helper with everything and even likes to clean (he actually hates getting messy.) That might be my fault a little but oh well Haha. Evan pretends to talk on the phone and make me dinner. His conversations are usually with Yiayia/Papou (Jason's parents) and Mamma/Bampa (My parents). I'll ask him how he is doing and he'll say "I good Momma!!" I am lucky that he has never had a problem with sleeping in his big boy bed. He loves it and enjoys it when I lay with him and read to him. His favorite foods are "peetZAAA" and "asgetti." Well, both boys just woke up at the same time 7:56 am So the day begins... I love you Evan!!

Joshua

Oh Joshy Washy (my nickname for him-creative, I know) I never knew a baby could have such a temper! He throws a fit when he doesn't get what he wants. I sometimes don't even know what to do with him but laugh when he is mad. He lays on the floor while stomping his feet on the ground and rolling over and over. He gets bright red too and just screams...I hope...no no I PRAY this is just a phase and will END soon! Besides the fits, he is a very sweet baby. His open mouth kisses are so cute and only gives them to Mommy :-) He army crawls and is very fast. He loves to be on the floor getting into everything and finding things like Evans sippy cup or messing with the trash can (I wish I was able to block off my Kitchen!) He will be 9 months old on March 24th and already has 5 teeth! Four on the top and one on the bottom. He has been eating a lot of finger foods lately and unlike his brother, he is NOT picky at all! Thank Goodness!!!! Infact, If I sit him down in his highchair before there is any food on his tray he goes NUTS! Josh can wave "bye-bye" and says "da-da" and "ma-ma" on occassions. He is getting close to pulling himself up (I think it will probably be another month or so before it happens) and loves to play peek-a-boo! I can't believe how fast he is growing and in a few months I am going to be planning a One Year Old Party. I love you Joshua!

Update...

I need to make time to update this thing more often. I woke up this morning at 5:30am so I could shower and get ready before the goobers wake up. I ended up being dressed and ready by 6:30 (really not sure how that happened) Soooo...I am back in bed and decided to update this. The boys are usually waking up around 7:30-8ish in the mornings now and we have breakfast together. Evan loves eating Oh-meal every morning! He never gets tired of it. I think he enjoys feeding it to himself and feeling so BIG! Josh munches away on cheerios and his own oatmeal. One of my favorite parts of the day is sitting down at the kitchen table with the boys and watching them eat. How and why are babies so cute when they eat?!? After breakfast, Evan rushes into the bathroom to help me start the bathtub. This child LOVES taking a bath/shower and so does Josh. They both swim around and splash eathother. I am usually soaked by the time they are out and dried. Evan helps me feed Josh his bottle after and then the little guy goes down for a nap around 10-11:30. Evan and I have some time to play, watch a show, and eat lunch together. Josh gets his lunch when he wakes up and then the boys crawl around together and play. Evan takes a nap from 1-2:30/3ish but before he goes to sleep we ALWAYS have to read his favorite book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? He can say all the animal names and knows all the sounds! Once Evan is asleep, Josh and I play and have another bottle. I can usually get Josh to sleep again around 1:30 or 2 and have SOME time to myself before Evan wakes up. We usually hang out with our wonderful friends after naps and then get dinner ready at 5:30. Evan loves dinner time and helping me get all the pots and pans out. Jason gets home from work at 6:30 and the boys go crazy when they see daddy walk through the door! It's so sweet to watch Evan run into his arms when he gets home. Both the boys usually are asleep by 8 everynight and then the dishes/house gets cleaned up, watch a couple shows and then it's off to bed at around 9:30. I feel so old that I go to bed at 9:30 but staying up later just kills me in the morning when I'm trying to wake up. Not sure why I made a post about my daily schedule but IF you were wondering...that IS what I do everyday. Haha Okay now posts on the b o y s
