The boys

Josh is mostly sitting up by himself now and rolling over both ways. His favorite thing to do right now is have you hold him standing up and he jumps and jumps. Gives your arms quite a work out. He will be 6 months old on Dec. 24th. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is wearing size 6-9 months clothes and size 3 diapers. He is our big boy!

Evan is 22 months old (two more months and he WILL be TWO!! AHH). He is quite the character and can really make us laugh. This child can talk and can really pronounce words well (He even has a Texas twang...not sure who he got that from LoL) He does have a bit of a listening problem and loves to tell me "No" when I ask him to do something. There have been quite a few time-outs lately. :( Other than that, he is a real sweetheart! I hope he doesn't stop randomly giving me hugs, kisses, and "I wuv you's!"

Update

I haven't blogged since Josh was born...I've had the time just forgot about it. I enjoy looking at everyone elses. Anyways, Evan is almost 22 months...it's hard to believe in 2 months he will be 2 years old. I hate that time is going by so fast, he is the sweetest little boy ever. He gives out hugs and kisses to everyone and says "I wuh yew." I love walking into his room in the morning and hearing him say, "Hi Mommy!" He mimmicks everything we do and loves to help with whatever he can. He loves my swiffer and will sweep the house for me. He is a big helper and a great big brother. He absolutely adores "Dosh" and I know he can't wait for Josh to be able to play with him. Evan is our goof ball and dancer. He has had some listening problems lately-he gets a kick out of telling me "No" when I say it to him. He sure knows how to push my buttons. Haha.
As for Joshy, he is the happiest baby and loves everyone. He always has the best smiles and right now it's hard to find him without a hand, foot, or toy in his mouth. He is 5 months old now and wow has it gone by fast! He is rolling over from tummy to back and almost sitting up by himself. We have tried baby food once but he is just not interested yet-he doesn't even try to swallow it. He grabs our face and eats our nose now, it is the funniest thing. He sleeps from 7pm to 5:30am...not bad-just wish he would let me sleep in for another 30 mins.
We are getting ready for Christmas and spending time with our families. I am looking forward to seeing how Evan reacts this year on Christmas morning, he loves the tree with all the lights and ornaments on it...calls it his "priddee twee."
And now some photos...

Joshua Richard Paulson

Well, I had to have another c-section but it ended up working out for the best since there was a whole in my uterus on the previous c-section scar and things could have gone very wrong if I had tried for a VBAC. The surgery went 100 times better than the first one and the recovery is going great! Josh was born on June 24, 2009 at 8:21 am He weighed 7 lbs, 8 ozs and 20.75 inches long. He looks just like his daddy and sometimes resembles Evan as well. He loves to cry, cry, cry and eat, eat, eat. He is definately a momma's boy...loves to be held and always stops crying when he hears my voice. :) We are all adjusting well and Evan loves to help me and give kisses to Josh. I still can't pick up Evan which is really hard on me but my family has helped out so much that I don't think he notices much. Now for pictures!!

The BiG day is coming...

So, I haven't blogged in forever-here's what's going on...

EVAN-16 months old and no longer walks...he runs...FAST! He still hasn't figured out how to stop so he throws his arms out and crashes into the couch, fridge, doors, walls, me, etc... He absolutely loves to go outside and swim at Grandma's which we do almost everyday. He is getting to be a tan little boy and a good little kicker in the water. Both Jason and I get kisses from him every morning and night and so does my belly. I'm so glad he is still the same sweet little boy! I can't believe how much he changes even on a daily basis, he is always doing something new. He LOVES to dance, march, clap his hands anytime he hears music. It's so cute and hysterical. I often wonder somedays if we are already getting into the terrible twos stage, he has a very defiant side to him and looks at you when he is going to do something wrong, you tell him No, and he still does it and then runs away. How do you not laugh at it while trying to stay serious? It's so hard!! He is also climbing up and onto everything, but luckily haven't tried climbing out of the crib yet... He says a lot of things, mostly only things I would understand, but he is doing very well and mimicks a lot! He loves to throw things away in the trash for me, get his diaper when he needs to be changed, put his toys away, bring me something I ask for, and help with laundry. His favorite friend is Taylor who is 7 months old, he loves to kiss her and give her hugs, I am SO anxious for his baby brother to get here to see them together!!

I am 37 weeks pregnant and sick of the heat! I am doing really well aside the fact that I am now feeling A LOT of pressure and cramping...I am already dilated which I thought was exciting so hopefully he will come out SOON! I am scheduled to get induced on June 22 if he hasn't arrived yet.
